Moral Decay Photographic print or Hardboard
Moral Decay...... The image was taken at a country cemetery abandoned church in Coshocton County Ohio.
I don’t know when this church was built the oldest stones in the cemetery are from the late 1840s.
All of the pews were still present in the building as is a piano. The floor has caved in several places though from the roof leaking, and some of the fixtures are no longer in very good shape. There was a partition that runs down the middle of the church-dividing it into two halves one side for the men and the other for the women.
Sadly this old church building collapsed a couple of years after this image was made, under heavy snow, and no longer exists. The HB version of this image is mounted on nested hardboard sealed and textured to resemble a painting. the smaller 12x12 piece measures .75 inches deep this particular larger 20x20 piece is approximately .80 inches deep. Either size comes ready to hang as is or frame if you so desire. The images are of the larger sized piece. Image 1 is this piece hanging 2. is me holding the piece to give you an idea of relative size. 3 is close up showing applied texture to the image. 4 is the back of the piece showing depth. Shipping costs are not fully set up yet but we’re working on it as fast as we can. At present, it is all new to us and we would like very much to keep prices low so instead of putting a one price fits all shipping option, we would rather charge the actual shipping cost including shipping materials with no inflated handling charges. Please bear with us while we get it all figured out.
